While you’re allowed to have days off, you won’t get too far if you slack off for too long. You will need to work on your stuff all of the time and make sure you’re getting ahead of the competition. While you might be comfortable in your local town, you won’t get as far as you’d like being stuck in your own area. Look to branch out to different parts of the country – or even different parts of the entire world. The more eyes you get, the better. Over time, this might require you to look at an artist’s visa, but that’s not something that should really scare you or question anything.
