For seniors, it’s important to follow a few simple steps to keep stress level from peaking come graduation time. Your Senior year should be a time of planning for the future so you will be ready for what comes next after graduation. The earlier you plan out your course of action, the more likely you will manage to meet your goals without rushing or missing out. Meet with your advisor to discuss graduation requirements.

Decide what your plan will be:

  • Do you want to get a job right away, take time off, or continue to graduate school?
  • You may decide to try an internship during your senior year to explore a particular job or employer.

You’ve set yourself up for success in college, so don’t lose that momentum. Keep on top of deadlines and meetings by organizing your resume and important dates in advance. Make sure to start networking and keep your relationships ongoing that final year. As a guide to mapping out your senior year, refer to this infographic.
