This is definitely a career advice! “A delicate balance in getting the right job and doing the job right” how do you balance this one? How do people value their job? Are they even loving the job they have or just for the money? For me, I want to have a career that I love and enjoy doing. What is you preferred getting paid well and not even happy doing it and it kills you with boredom. I like how you also posted some links for those who give career advice. This is really helpful. His articles gives me insights, helps me set goals on what to do with my life and career, at the same time loving and living it.

Networking is key. Staying active in professional organizations, utilizing LinkedIn to its fullest potential, reconnecting with everyone you know, and everyone they know, and get the word out that you are looking. Also, sit down and map out your goals. Do you have specific companies you would love to work for? Learn everything you can about those companies, seek out people that work there (not in stalker fashion, however), search on LinkedIn, ask your connections about whether they know someone on the inside. In the end, hand delivering your resume to the hiring manager or recruiter will give you a better foot in the door than replying to a paper or on-line job opening.
