There’s more to the “Best Companies to work for” list outside of the Fortune.com sites. Greatplacetowork.com is a company that dedicated to helping companies become “the best place to work” through a series of seminars and other resources (take a look if you get a chance). Continuing our review of the Best Companies to work for . . .
- Atlantic Health – This New Jersey hospital is ranked 75 (not on the list last year), has over 6,900 employees and added 109 jobs last year. Their career page leads with a video below which is a link to tips for applying for a job and a search career openings. The left hand side of the page has a number of links (benefits, career events, job agent, etc.) followed by a list of hot jobs (clicking on any of them links to a listing of those jobs). You can register on the site and post your resume or search for a job (there were 218 jobs when I checked).
- Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network – Yes, another hospital (they are obviously good and being a great place to work). Ranked 76 on the list (up from 85 last year), this hospital has almost 8,900 employees and added 431 jobs last year. Their careers page is jam packed with information. The left hand side lists job functions while the center of the page has information on applying followed by job search by category (there were 89 jobs when I checked). The right hand side of the page has several variations on job search.
- Northwest Community Hospital – Number 77 on the list, this hospital was not on the list last year. They have 3,372 employees and added 40 jobs last year. Their careers page has an overview of the company with a “search and apply” link at the center bottom of the page. The left hand side of the page has similar links. The Job Search and Application link leads to a page with all of the jobs listed (there were about 40 jobs listed when I checked).
- Marriott International – Ranked 78 (and not a health organization!), Marriot is a hotel chain with over 141,000 employees globally (124,000 in the US) and added 1,873 jobs last year. Their careers page has a basic company overview in the center with most of the links listed on the left hand side of the page. Career Paths lists a number of career choices (with links and descriptions). The Job Search link lists opportunities by type (you must search by type).
- Baptist Health South Florida – Ranked 79 and up from 84 last year, Baptist has over 10,600 jobs and added 741 jobs last year. The careers page is focused on the right hand side of the page. Tabs at the top of this section lists links to company information while the right hand side lists current openings by job type. Clicking any of these leads to a listing of the job openings for that type.
