Still Working after all of these Years?

Tough markets has everyone looking over their shoulder (if they still have a job) for the “tap” (you know, the one that says that your job has been eliminated).  Even with unemployment as high as it is, let’s face it, most people still have a job.  You are, of course, in a better place if you are still employed while looking for greener pastures (where ever they may be).  So let’s get going – time to review some recruiting firms.

  • Winston Resources LLC – Located in NY (some locations in NJ as well), Winston has a number of divisions which focus on specific industries &/or functions: Clerical, Temporary, Medical, Advertising, and Executives.  You can search for jobs, apply online or go to their Candidate resource center (manage your career, work/life balance, etc.).
  • Supporting Cast – A recruiting firm based out of NY and Washington DC.  Like Winston, they have “sister” companies that focus on legal, graphic design, food & hospitality and temporary workers.  They have a blog on their home page and you can search current jobs and submit your resume and register.  They also have a testing and training portal.
  • Pro-Link Executive Search – Pro-Link focuses on accounting and financial staffing.  They do not list open positions or allow for posting your resume on their site.  they do provide information so that you can either call them or send an email to them.
  • Michael Page International – Michael Page is one of the largest global recruiting firms, with offices in the UK, Continental Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.  They have a number of offices through out the US.  Their main page offers job search, the ability to submit your resume, resources and advice and an executive search section.

Good luck in your search.
